  • When does the SAT Workshop Series take place?

    The workshop series will run for 6 weeks, taking place each Saturday from February 1, 2025, through March 15, 2025, from 12:00 pm - 2:30 pm.

  • Where will the workshops be held?

    The workshops will be held at the YMCA – 4th Floor, located at 1409 Sistrunk Blvd., Fort Lauderdale, FL 33311.

  • What do I need to do to prepare for the first session?

    Please complete the following steps to be fully prepared: Join the DST Scholars Academy Khan Academy Course: Visit www.khanacademy.org/join and enter the class code: 5VUM2RFK. Log in to your College Board Account: Ensure you have access to your account or create one if needed. You can visit College Board for more details. Complete Practice Test 1: Once logged into your College Board account, go to the “My Practice” section and complete Practice Test 1, which serves as your pre-test. Register for the Academic Strides Learning Platform: Follow this link (https://academicstrides.thinkific.com/enroll/3151627?price_id=4030301) Academic Strides Learning Platform, to register for the platform we’ll use during the course. Come ready to learn with a phone, tablet, or laptop.

  • What technology should I bring to the workshop?

    Please bring a phone, tablet, or laptop to each session to access course materials and engage with digital tools we’ll be using.

  • How do I access the Princeton Review Book & Khan Academy SAT materials?

    Completing Practice Test 1 in the College Board’s “My Practice” section will serve as your pre-test, allowing us to track your progress throughout the workshop series.
